Dr Parmod Kumar is an Academician and professor of English subject at Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi. He lives in Dwarka.
Dr Parmod Kumar is a literary man and a dynamic personality. He started his career as an
Assistant Professor in English in 2001 with RLA College in Delhi University and joined School
of Humanities at Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi in March, 2007.
Apart from his first rank in English Honours in Graduation, he won college color and Gold
Medal for his overall performance in DAV College, Chandigarh. Dr Parmod Kumar is an
Australian Studies scholar and received prestigious Australia India Council Fellowship in Year
201011.He also acted as a Cultural Ambassador of India and gave lectures on India’s
incredible cultural diversity. His areas of interest and expertise include New Literatures, World
Literatures in English, Literary Theory
His other interest and hobbies are Public Speaking, Higher Education, Curriculum Development, Staff Development, Educational Leadership, Teacher Training, E-Learning and Educational Technology.
